For many women, the first contact with the hospital is in an obstetrics department. There are many methods of childbirth and it is important that the stay is well experienced. The Affinity® IV delivery bed is designed to adapt to all delivery methods chosen. It is designed to ensure patient comfort, whatever the position adopted.
Thanks to the battery backup, the bed controls remain operational even when unplugged, making it easier to position and control the patient during emergency transport.
OneStep® side rails raise and lower with one hand, automatically folding under the bed during descent.
The OneStep® barrier locking system makes patient transfer easier and safer by ensuring a perfect junction (no gaps).
The clean line of the bed (all equipment is stored within the perimeter of the bed: elimination of protrusions) protects you when you move quickly around your patient.
The pelvic section with automatic tilt and the V-shaped mattress (optional) facilitate access to the patient during birth.
The foot section locks easily and stays in position.
Its streamlined design gives the bed a lightweight feel that makes it easier to maneuver while transporting patients.
The EasyGlide® calf rests can be adjusted to obtain the best positioning and are locked using a simple handle.

The Affinity Four birthing bed meets the challenge of a reliable birthing bed that operates with ease in the most demanding environment. With the Affinity Four bed’s Stow and Go™ feature, you can simply slide the built-in leg rest under the bed during delivery, then put it back in place when finished. If, on the other hand, you choose the ergonomic Lift-Off version, simply place the leg rest on the integrated base.

During labor and delivery, staff time is limited. Caregivers often cannot afford to take even a few minutes to search for equipment, a power outlet, or use complicated controls. The Affinity Four bed is designed to help caregivers deal with the issues they face every day.
• The Stow and Go leg rest slides and stores under the bed (no lifting required). The leg rest is easily put back in place, while avoiding faulty fastenings or discomfort with the sheets.
• With battery backup , caregivers can use all of the bed’s features, including changing heights and changing positions, when the bed is away from a power outlet, reducing the time between decision and action” in critical situations.
• The slope assisted by a gas spring allows the adjustment of the backrest to be immediately reduced to 8 degrees.

• The leg rest position locks correctly and easily. • EasyGlide calf rests pivot into the correct position and lock with a single lever, keeping them securely in place.
• The slope, with improved springs and seals, allows one person to easily perform lowering and lifting.
• The inflatable air cushions available as an option located on the seat and back prevent the mother from having to be repositioned.
• Four double-locking casters keep the bed in place.
• The mattress with a pressure redistribution layer of Hill-Rom foam, available as an option, offers great comfort, particularly in the sensitive area of the seat.
• Automatic tilt of the pelvis area and optional v-cut mattress provide better access to the parturient during delivery.
